Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Finland - Q1 2022

The first quarter of 2022 saw varying performance trends among the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Finland. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue trends for these apps.

VR Matkalla experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 2.5K in late December 2021 and reaching around 3.2K by the end of March 2022. Weekly active users showed slight fluctuations, beginning at about 18.3K and peaking at 18.7K mid-March before slightly declining to 18.3K by the end of the quarter.

112 Suomi saw a notable spike in downloads during the first quarter, especially in early March, where weekly downloads surged to approximately 4.1K. Active user trends also followed a similar pattern, rising from around 5.9K in late December 2021 to a peak of 7.8K in early March, before settling at around 5.9K by the end of the quarter.

EasyPark - Parking made easy showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at around 1.4K and climbing to approximately 2.6K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users also exhibited growth, rising from about 13.7K in late December 2021 to nearly 14.8K by the end of the quarter.

HSL - tickets & route planner demonstrated significant growth in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads increased from approximately 1.2K in late December 2021 to about 3K by the end of March. Active users saw a substantial rise from around 34.5K to over 50.8K during the same period.

Finnair also observed a consistent upward trend in downloads, starting from around 1.5K and reaching approximately 2.6K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users exhibited a similar pattern, growing from about 2.8K to approximately 4.4K by the end of the quarter.
